A Year-End Message from Patrick Jeukenne
Dear PS Team,
As we bring 2025 to a close, I want to pause and reflect on what has been an intense, demanding, and ultimately meaningful year for Pharma Systems. It has not been an easy year, but it has been a year of progress, resilience, and clear evidence that we are moving in the right direction—together.
At our November Town Hall, I spoke about what it means to be harder, stronger, faster, and better. Those words were not just a theme; they describe how you showed up throughout the year. In a challenging market environment, you delivered growth, strengthened our foundations, and, most importantly, improved how our customers and patients experience BD Pharma Systems.
We made tangible progress where it matters most. We grew in a difficult macro environment. We achieved record On-Time-In-Full performance and significantly reduced backorders. We advanced critical programs for biologics and GLP-1 therapies, reached first-in-human clinical milestones, and successfully navigated regulatory inspections with zero observations. Our Net Promoter Score improved meaningfully, reflecting growing customer trust—trust earned through better execution, stronger collaboration, and a relentless focus on what is critical to our customers and patients.
Equally important, 2025 marked a turning point in how we work together. Our Future Up Culture Journey is no longer an aspiration; it is becoming visible in daily behaviors, in how we solve problems cross-functionally, how we listen to customers, and how we take ownership end-to-end. Moments like the feedback we received from customers such as Merck are powerful reminders that culture, when lived consistently, becomes a competitive advantage.
This spirit of excellence and collaboration was on full display at the Pharma Systems President's Awards. These awards recognize teams who exemplify what it means to act as One PS while advancing both our strategy and our culture. This year's winners reflect the very best of Pharma Systems, demonstrating resilience, creativity, and a deep commitment to serving customers and patients. Their achievements remind us that excellence is never achieved in isolation, but through strong collaboration across functions, regions, and disciplines. I encourage you to read the full story highlighting the President's Awards and this year's winning teams.
As we look ahead to 2026, our priorities are clear. We must compete harder, grow faster than our competition, regain lost positions, execute with greater discipline, continue to innovate, and simplify how we operate. We know where we need to improve, and we have strong foundations on which to build. Most importantly, we have the talent, passion, and determination required to succeed.
I want to close by saying thank you. Thank you for your hard work, your perseverance, and your belief in what we are building together. You should be proud of what you accomplished in 2025. I am incredibly proud to lead this organization and to work alongside you.
I wish you and your families a restful and joyful holiday season. Let's return in the New Year with renewed energy, clarity of purpose, and confidence that, together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference for patients around the world.
With gratitude and best wishes,
